Is Mulan A Princess?

Hey Everyone! Okay, for a while I have been wondering why Mulan is represented as a princess in the Disney merchandise  I watched Mulan and Mulan two on Netflix the other day, and I just couldn't figure out why she wears a crown in the Disney Merchandise.

I then looked online and found many different opinions, but then found some reliable sources. Even though Mulan is not really a princes Disney represents her as one, because she is what a princess should be like. She has courage, bravery and puts others before herself. She also shows everyone that you don't have to be born into a royal family or marry into one to become a princess. Every girl and women is already a princess inside. It does not matter if she is really a princess, because to me she will always be one.
